An Independent Practice of Smoky Mountain Individual and Family Therapy

“I believe that the one most universal need is that of feeling we have some control over our lives. This is the key to many emotional problems including depression, anxiety, addictions, and relationship issues such as victimization.  Therapy should focus on finding areas of our lives where we can affect some change, along with acceptance of things beyond the scope of our control. I encourage attention to many areas of lifestyle, so we may talk about daily activity and exercise, what you eat, our creativity, and what about your support system and friendships? I also strongly believe in the value of a spiritual faith, although I do not promote a specific religious practice".
